Previous challenges

We previously managed events using a combination of Tripleseat and Toast event add-on, but neither solution could keep up with the volume and demands of our growing events business. Tripleseat felt overly complicated for our team, wasn’t generating new business, and came at a high cost. On the other hand, Toast event add-on was too limited and not built to handle our event business. Emails would get lost, communications were fragmented, and staying organized was a constant uphill battle. That lack of efficiency and visibility ultimately pushed us to find a more streamlined, purpose-built solution.

I also wanted to point out that your Contact Form is customizable, which was not the case with Tripleseatβ€”it was very limited and generic. We've been able to add a "Budget" field, which has been really helpful in understanding client needs upfront, especially in cases where we have some flexibility in pricing or offerings.

With Tripleseat, we couldn’t add custom fields like that, so we never had insight into a client's budget unless we followed up directly. While not every client fills it out, we’re definitely seeing budgets submitted more often now, which helps us tailor our proposals more efficiently from the start.

Overall, when comparing the two platforms, I’ve found that Perfect Venue offers significantly more flexibility and intuitive functionality than Tripleseat. It’s been a noticeable improvement in terms of ease of use and customization.

Impact of Perfect Venue

The platform is intuitive, centralized, and built specifically for hospitality β€” it keeps our team organized, improves the guest experience, and helps us close more business, faster. "The AI reply function was the icing on the cake!" I can’t begin to express how much this feature has helped us respond to inquiries faster and more effectively. It's been a game-changer for our team’s efficiency and responsiveness. Another huge win has been the payment process through the platform β€” truly a lifesaver! Previously, we relied on Docusign to capture credit card information in case of cancellations or no-shows, which was time-consuming and fragmented. With PV, we can now handle contract signatures and payment authorizations all in one place, streamlining the entire process and protecting our business. Even Tripleseat didn’t have this solutioned, and it's made a meaningful difference in how we manage events from start to finish. One of my favorite features β€” that neither Tripleseat nor Toast offered β€” is the menu selections functionality. Once I add the menus to a client’s proposal, PV allows the client to make their own selections directly through the platform, instead of emailing them to me and requiring manual updates. This gives clients more control and creates a smoother, more efficient experience for both sides. The flexibility to lock or unlock the menu for editing is also incredibly useful, depending on the stage of planning or changes needed.

Overall, I’m extremely impressed with the PV platform. When comparing features side-by-side with Tripleseat, I’ve found that Perfect Venue offers significantly more flexibility and intuitive functionality. It’s been a noticeable improvement in terms of ease of use and customization β€” and at such a great value. It’s truly a rare find!

Getting set up with Perfect Venue was honestly a breath of fresh air. Their onboarding and customer success team made everything super easy β€” no headaches, no confusion. They took care of our Tripleseat migration and built out our account, so guests see our space exactly how we want it shown. What really impressed me was how involved and supportive the team was. They kept in touch, made sure we were set up for success, and were always just a message away if we needed anything. It didn’t feel like we were just signing up for software β€” it felt like we had a team in our corner. The Customer Support team is truly top-notch! They're always quick to respond and ready to help whenever we need it. We've been genuinely impressed β€” unlike many support teams that pass the buck or leave you waiting for generic responses, PV's team is responsive, knowledgeable, and feels like a real partner in our success.

Proudly local and family-owned, we bring elevated comfort food to two vibrant neighborhoods β€” the heart of Downtown San Mateo and lively Santa Clara. Each of our locations blends cozy, welcoming vibes with a love for wood-fired cooking and thoughtful hospitality. Inspired by owners Omid and Susan’s passion for people, pizza, and fire-roasted flavor, our menu combines the best of rotisserie favorites, artisan wood-fired pizzas, and homemade pies. Guests love our slow-roasted prime rib and spitfire rotisserie chicken, paired with classics like creamy mac and cheese. Or they can opt for our signature wood-fired pizzas, made famous at our sister location in Burlingame. Every dish is crafted with premium ingredients and care β€” right down to our house-made cocktails and distinctive dough.
